Midwifery nurses – A certified nurse midwife, or CNM, is a nurse that is trained to provide care for pregnant women and women in the labor of child birth. Neonatal nurses – The neonatal nurse provides medical care to newborn babies. This type of nurse may evaluate the health of a newborn baby, provide preventative care for newborns to avert illness, or they may also care for newborn babies that are already ill.
